About Me

Amjad Jumaa Al-Mulla

I was born and raised in Basra, Iraq. At the age of five, I contracted polio after a fall while playing, which left me physically challenged. However, this did not stop me from pursuing life. Despite the difficult circumstances I faced, I developed a passion for art and became a visual artist, participating in both local and international exhibitions.

 

I am married and a father of three children. After the devastation caused by war in my country, my family and I moved through several countries before finally settling in Vermont, USA. Despite the hardships and extreme challenges, I never let go of my passion for painting. I continued to create art and participate in numerous exhibitions in Vermont, and I look forward to expanding my artistic journey to other states.
